Atlanta Acupuncture Prices

In Atlanta, like many other cities, the range of acupuncture prices can vary depending on several factors. These differences stem from various aspects such as practitioner experience, location, clinic reputation, treatment duration, and additional services provided. Understanding these factors can help individuals navigate the range of prices and make informed decisions about their acupuncture treatment. Metro Acupuncture, an acupuncture clinic in Atlanta, has been in practice since 1998.

The experience and expertise of the acupuncturist play a significant role in determining the cost of acupuncture sessions. Acupuncturists with advanced training, certifications, and years of experience typically charge higher fees for their services. Their expertise and skill level often justify the higher prices, as patients may receive more effective treatments and personalized care. At Metro Acupuncture, we have Dr. Mark A. Lewinter, a licensed acupuncturist who specializes in acupuncture for IVF patients. He is a fellow of The Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine. He has been working with patients who are undergoing IVF at Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM), Reproductive Biology Associates (RBA), and Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) since 2001. Physician, Dr. Laura Bowman, is both a medical doctor who practices acupuncture and a doctor that treats ADHD Atlanta patients and practices addiction medicine. Dr. Andrea Lewinter, a licensed acupuncturist, also has a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and mindfulness training from The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy.

The location of the acupuncture clinic can influence pricing. Are you looking for “acupuncture near me?” Clinics located in affluent neighborhoods or commercial areas with high rents and operating costs may charge higher fees to cover their expenses. Our Sandy Springs Acupuncture practice has been at the same location since 1998, and with us conveniently located in the Sandy Springs/Dunwoody/Atlanta area, we can be an ideal choice for Atlanta acupuncture patients who don’t want to drive and are looking for acupuncture nearby.

The reputation and success rate of the acupuncture clinic also impact pricing. Established clinics, like Metro Acupuncture, with a strong track record of positive outcomes and satisfied clients may command higher fees due to their reputation for quality care. On the other hand, newer or less well-known clinics may offer discounted rates or promotions to attract clients and build their clientele.

Additionally, the duration and frequency of acupuncture sessions can affect pricing. Some clinics offer standard one-hour sessions, while others may provide extended or specialized treatments that require more time and resources, resulting in higher fees. Similarly, the frequency of sessions recommended by the acupuncturist for optimal results can influence overall costs.

Additional services or modalities offered alongside acupuncture may contribute to price variations. Some clinics may integrate complementary therapies such as herbal medicine, cupping therapy, or nutritional counseling into their treatment plans, leading to higher overall costs. These additional services can enhance the effectiveness of acupuncture but may come at an extra cost. Metro Acupuncture does not charge an additional amount for cupping or nutritional counseling. All our prices are clear so that there are no surprises.

Finally, promotional offers, package deals, and membership plans offered by Atlanta acupuncture clinics can impact pricing. Many clinics provide discounted rates for new clients, loyalty rewards for returning clients, or package deals for multiple sessions booked in advance. These incentives can make acupuncture more affordable and encourage clients to commit to ongoing treatment. Metro Acupuncture does offer package discounts for Atlanta acupuncture patients who require a series of acupuncture sessions. These discounts are based on the chosen treatment package. Acupuncture treatments are offered for follow up treatments, in person, but initial acupuncture sessions can be booked online here.

In summary, the range of acupuncture prices in Atlanta reflects several factors such as practitioner experience, location, clinic reputation, treatment duration, additional services, and promotional offers. By considering these factors and evaluating their individual needs and preferences, individuals can find acupuncture services that suit their budget and provide the quality care they deserve. Whether you decide to be a patient at Metro Acupuncture or another Atlanta acupuncture practice, know that we’d like to help, so feel free to contact us for assistance in choosing the right Atlanta acupuncture practice for you!

What are the costs for acupuncture treatments? An initial session with Mark Lewinter, DACM, L.Ac., or Andrea Lewinter, D.Ac, L.Ac., costs $189.00, which covers both the consultation and the acupuncture treatment. Follow-up sessions with them are priced at $139.00. For initial appointments with Laura Bowman, MD, the cost is $205.00, including the consultation and acupuncture treatment, with follow-up appointments at $159.00.

Can I use my health insurance for acupuncture at your clinic? Metro Acupuncture doesn’t have contracts with insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid. However, after each appointment, we give you a detailed receipt (Superbill). You can use this if your insurance plan covers acupuncture and you need to file a claim.

Can acupuncture help me? The first step is to book an initial appointment, which you can easily do on our website.

In this first session, we get a better understanding of your symptoms and health concerns. If we believe we can help you, we will outline a treatment plan aimed at giving you the best results. Since acupuncture is a process, you’ll be able to judge its effectiveness more clearly after several sessions.

Do you focus on certain conditions? Yes, our Atlanta acupuncture clinic specializes in offering supportive therapy for IVF patients and has been doing so since 2001. We’ve also successfully treated thousands with headaches and migraines, various types of pain, and vertigo. But our expertise isn’t limited to these areas. Everyone is welcome at our clinic, whether you’re seeking treatment for a specific issue or just want to try a single acupuncture session. Our goal is to help you achieve your health objectives.

Are there techniques you offer other than acupuncture? In addition to acupuncture, Metro Acupuncture practitioners have the training to apply various techniques and methods to help patients, such as cupping, frequency-specific microcurrent (FSM), Asian Thermal Treatments (moxibustion or moxa), herbal medicine, acupressure, tuning fork vibration, and lifestyle and dietary suggestions.

How long have you been in practice? Metro Acupuncture has supported our community’s health needs from our 6255 Barfield Road location since 1998. During this time, we have been able to help thousands of patients with various health issues. Working with women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) is a specialty at our practice, and many of our patients find us to be a supportive agent while they are experiencing their assisted reproductive technology journey.

Why should I be a patient at Metro Acupuncture? Our practitioners, with doctoral accreditation, specialize in East Asian medicine, focusing on infertility, pain, IVF support, headaches, and migraines. Our treatments blend Eastern and Western medical principles. Services like moxibustion, cupping, and nutritional recommendations are offered at no additional cost to you. We use high-quality single-use disposable needles and GMP-certified herbal products. Appointments available Monday – Saturday can be easily scheduled through our website.
